100% RECYCLED MATERIALS

JUNK glasses are made of econyl® or recycled acetate. Econyl® is a 100% regenerated nylon made from waste such as fishing nets from the oceans and aquaculture, fabric scarps from mills and carpets destined for landfill. Some of the new collections are produced in cellulose acetate, also 100% recycled. In this case, the material comes totally from secondary raw material, such as withdrawal of sprues and slab trimmings; the production process consists in cleaning, sorting by colour, grinding, re-homogenization in a mixer with colour recipe corrected pigments.
